"Elanora Flamez"
In January 2003 Flamez was started under saddle by her then novice non-pro owner Barbara Schleppi. Flamez was then lightly performed as a 2 yo. As a 3 y.o. she was shown for several months in a wide variety of Junior Horse & Novice Performance Events. Since then Flamez mainly competes in Reining, Working Cowhorse and Trail Classes. She stands at 14.3 1/2 hands and is a very kind, easy to train, show & handle mare.
Elanora Flamez foaled a gorgous blue roan filly in 2008. She will continue her show career in 2009.
August NEWS: Flamez added another award to her list: an AQHA Register of Merit in Trail . Flamez won the monthly High Point Amateur Award at the North Coast Western Riders Club as well as High Point Sporting Horse of the Year 2009.
October NEWS: ...and she got another one: AQHA Register of Merit in Non Pro Reining . She also won the monthly High Point Amateur, Senior and Open Horse Awards at the North Coast Western Riders Club show :-) . She has been bred to Poco Blue Moon for a 2010 foal.
September 2010 NEWS: Flamez has had a lovely bay colt foal by Poco Blue Moon :-)
